Sapa Town

Sapa, is a beautiful mountainous town in Lao Cai (Vietnam) renowned for its touristic and heritage value with hidden charm of nature. With a fine, rugged scenery covered in the green of lush vegetation and rice terraces, Sapa is a truly idyllic, dreamlike painting profoundly highlighted by the Northwestern spirit.

Sapa is located on a plain at between 1500m and 1650m on the hillside of mount Lo Suay Tong. At the peak at 2228m-high we can see the Southeast of Sapa. Also the town offers amazing view of Ngoi Dum valley to the east and Muong Hoa valley to the southwest.

Fansipan mountain is the highest peak in Indochina and is hereby dubbed “The roof of Indochina” (3.143m), lying in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, 9km to the southewest, surrounded with Lao Cai and Lai Chau – 2 provinces in the northeast of Vietnam. The Sun World Fansipan Legend cable car system offering visitors an exclusive experience of contemplating the panoramic Muong Hoa valley is certainly a must for all visitors upon coming to Sapa.
